Freelance 3D & VFX Artist for studios and agencies
Looking for a freelancer for an archviz, product or VFX project? I’m Eline Kouijzer, a freelance 3D & VFX artist based in Ootmarsum, the Netherlands. I have more than ten years of experience in architectural visualisation with 3ds Max and V-Ray. I work remotely on a project basis and communicate in English or Dutch.
I’m open to freelance projects and permanent studio roles as a Houdini FX artist in the Netherlands, as well as remote opportunities with studios abroad.

What you can hire me for
- Architectural visualisation: interiors, exteriors, gardens and outdoor lighting in 3ds Max and V-Ray.
- Product visualisation: photorealistic product images and technical visuals, such as an exploded view or a cross-section.
- Houdini FX: simulations with Pyro, FLIP and Vellum, procedural visuals and visual effects, rendered in Octane or Karma. I do this in my own projects, and it’s the direction I’m growing in.
- Lighting and materials: lighting, composition and lookdev for stills and animations.
Software
- 3ds Max and V-Ray: more than ten years of experience
- Houdini, with Octane Render and Karma: personal projects (Pyro, FLIP, Vellum, procedural)
- Cinema 4D: occasionally
- AI: Claude (connected to Houdini through an MCP link), ChatGPT and Gemini
